" The apartment (which was completely refurnished in June 2007) is located rather centrally within the “Gürtel” in the 7th district of Vienna in a very attractive residential area, one of the safest and most popular areas of the city. There are lots of cafés, restaurants and bars in the surroundings including a pub called “shebeen”, where all the stadd are English native speakers. Furthermore there are take-away-food outlets nearly (pizza, kebab, asia etc.). Finally, there’s a student’s bar called “Fladerei” located opposite the apartment building which offers some snacks and beverages at a fair price. Due to it’s building date of 1988, the apartment building has a modern infrastructure with a supermarket on the ground floor. Also opposite the apartment building there’s a backery which is opened on weekends, too. Moreover, there are supermarkets and drugstores within a 10 minutes range on foot, as well as the famous “Mariahilferstraße”, Austria’s biggest shopping street with well-known stores, boutiques and bars (plus an English cinema). Public transport connection: • 3min to tram line 46 (“Lerchenfelderstraße”, 2 stops to the center) • 6min to the subway line U6 • 4min to tram line 5 (“Kaiserstraße”) • 2 stops on line U6 to “Westbahnhof” "
