Artistic, archaeological and gastronomic routes: At St. Girolamo (2 Km) sculptures by Giovanni della Robbia. In Mazzolla (7 Km) enchanting view and a good trattoria. Ancient copper-mine in Montecatini Val di Cecina (16 Km,). In San Vivaldo (24 Km), chapels with sculptures in baked clay, which reproduce the Holy Mountain of Jerusalem. In Colle Val d’Elsa (26 Km), a medieval village, glass and crystal handicraft. In Terricciola and Badia di Morrona (34 Km) high quality cheese and wines. In Larderello (35 Km) the geysers and fumaroles of the “Devil Valley”, nowadays a source of geothermic energy. "A really lovely place! Eating breakfast in the garden, surrounded by flowers, birdsong and tuscan views was unforgettable. Angelo and Stefania are a charming, educated couple who went out of their way to make us feel at home (e.g. leaving cherries on our breakfast table one morning!). We walked a lot and loved both Volterra and the countryside around the house. The apartment was clean, very comfortable and well-equipped. Happy memories."

"We were very surprised about the accommodation and excellent view over the Toscana Hills. The accommodation was much better than the pictures on the web site. Mrs and Mr B. are very helpful to show us the most interesting places. The swimming pool was also very nice and we enjoyed our holiday in Volterra very much. We consider to stay at the same place next year."

"Un vrai petit coin de paradis. Idéalement situé pour visiter la toscane. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, toujours prêts à nous renseigner pour découvrir au mieux la région. Le jardin ressemble davantage à un parc, il est superbe, et la vue depuis la piscine est tout simplement à couper le souffle. Un très beau panorama. Le studio est très bien équipé, le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Nous conseillons vivement cette location."

"Studio simple mais relativement fonctionnel (ustensiles limités), dans un cadre enchanteur propice à la "dolce vita" avec sa grande piscine surplombant un décor typiquement Toscan et prôche de grands axes pour les visites culturelles (véhicule obligatoire). Des hôtes discrets mais disponibles. Une valeur sûre ! Nous reviendrons vite en Italie !"
