"We were delighted to find this apartment to serve as our home for a week long stay in Venice in January. The location was perfect. A two minute walk took us to little shops for needs ranging from cheese and pasta to delicious cookies. The largest grocery in Venice is just a 5 minute walk away. The Rialto market is one vaporetto stop away, or an easy ride on the traghetto (closed while we were there for maintenance). Those stops are just a few minutes walk away. And if you're arriving from the airport, the Alilaguna boat's first stop is just over 5 minutes away. It's also a great location for exploring the city. We tucked a map into a pocket for a day of exploring. When our feet gave out, we bought vaporetto passes, which offered the added bonus of delightful rides up and down the Grand Canal. The apartment is modern, well lit and comfortable (early Ikea). The kitchen had what we needed for cooking our own meals. The washer worked well once I learned to choose the quick cycle instead of the longer option. Things dried on the rack overnight, though it was dry during our entire stay. The only thing we missed was wi-fit, which the owner says she'll be able to get before our next visit. Perhaps the best thing was how we stopped feeling quite so much like tourists. From our perch we could watch the events on our little canal, hear the rhythm of steps of people walking up and down the calle and watch the light change on nearby buildings as it had for so many centuries."

"Séjour très agréable dans cet appartement lumineux et très propre, fort bien équipé. Idéalement situé non loin de l''axe piéton principal Ferrovia-Rialto-San Marco et à proximité de commerces de première nécessité (supermarché: rare à venise). Cette rue tranquille est juste à l''écart de la foule qui est pourtant si proche ( surtout pendant le carnaval). L''atout charme : une vue typique sur un canal paisible du sestier de Cannaregio.Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire."
