In quiet and popular neighborhood (Carrignargues), 5 min. walk from shopping mall and HARIBO candy factory (with leisure park, candy shop and museum). Designer villa (220sqm) with garden (1500 sqm) and all commodities (incl. air conditioning). Three bed rooms (first floor) plus garden chalet (sauna house), which also can sleep 2 people. Charm and design meeting comfort and tradition: The house is built next to the ancient trace of the Roman aqueduct, leaving from the fountain in Uzès to Nîmes via Pont du Gard (nowadays popular walking path). " Uzès is a jewel for discovery of French lifestyle and beauty. Recently renovated, with a medieval, pedestrian historical city center and beautiful architecture and settings, the city has become a magnet to tourists from all over the world, visiting its Provençal market (on Saturday morning) and highlights, such as its cathedral, castle or regular cultural events (i.e. classical music festival, dance festival, wine fair, truffle market, art and crafts exhibitions). The house is a perfect starting point for excursions by bike, foot or public transportation (bus stop 'Pont de Charettes' at 5 minutes). The Uzès city center can be reached within 20 minutes by foot cross the nature resort (without traffic crossing) . At less than 1h drive famous sightseeing attractions can be visited, such as the Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard (30 minutes drive), provençal towns such as Aix-, Salon, St. Remy and Les Baux de Provence, Arles, Orange or Avignon. There are regular bus connections toward Avignon and Nîmes. Also the Mediterranean Sea or the mountain region of the Cevennes can be reached within one hour by car. The Uzège region is also famous for its surrounding charming villages, easy to reach by bike or walk - across the ‘garrigue’ landscape or nature resort vallée de l'Eure. You can do horse riding, canoeing, climbing, caving, etc. Guests with children might be interested in a visit of the HARIBO candy factory with outlet store, museum and its professional playground.
