What a wonderful apartment for a restful and relaxing stay so near the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam! Great to have so much space (family of 5) and to enjoy the surrounding countryside. The apartment offers everything you need to self cater with style, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy whatever the weather presents. We ate on the sun deck a lot with the perfect view over yachts in the marina! We took hire kayaks through the back canals of the area - wonderful. The local town of Uitgeest is charming and full of great shops and friendly people; includes a supermarket. Getting to Amsterdam is a piece of cake - either train from Uitgeest or park and ride from the Amsterdam ring road, which was our preference as you get EURO8 parking all day including five return train tickets to Central Station! Perfect for a family of 5! Really recommend this apartment, the owners are lovely and give you loads of advice, and the whole process was easy from start to finish.
