"LOCATION, LOCATION!! Safe and quiet area where, at night, you can take long walks by the water and downtown, i min. from Piazza della Liberta''. Although the windows have no view, upstairs in the small terrace the view of the gulf of Trieste is wonderful and great for pictures. The a/c works well in the living/dining area but a fan would be useful to circulate the cool air to the bedroom. "

Very nice apartment in an unbeatable location in central Trieste. Everything was spotless, the furnishings are tasteful and the rooftop terrace was a big hit. We couldn't get the central heater to work, but since it was fairly warm anyway we didn't pursue the matter - it's probably just a matter of asking for instructions.

"This was excellant accommodation for our family of 4 (Daughters aged 22 and 20) but the apartment would not be overcrowded with 5 adults. The beds were very comfortable and many of the fittings are new, including an easy to operate new boiler which provides hot water and heating throughout. Situated in the centre of Trieste, the apartment is very convenient for shops and restaurants but a short bus or taxi ride from bus and train stations if carrying heavy luggage; otherwise it's a pleasant walk. We spent a day in Venice, which was easy to arrange and enjoyed looking round Trieste. All in all a totally successful short break and the apartment was superb."
