Not to be missed are the excursions via boat to the various coves, such as Cala Luna, Cala Goloritzè, and the Caves of the Marine Cow. Of particular interest is the pebbly beach of Coccorocci at the marina of Gairo Cardedu. Also fascinating is the trip via the Green Train that, departing from Arbatax, winds through the heart of Ogliastra. Worth visiting are the “Su Marmuri” caves at Ulassai. For enthusiasts of archaeological sites we strongly recommend the pathways to the Domus de Janas along the Lotzorai-Urzulei road. For lovers of trekking the pathways are too many to number. "
