" Torre Suda is a tourist resort near to Gallipoli, in the Salento region, very good to satisfy the wish to spend a holiday in an mediterranean place on the Ionian coast, characterized by a rocky and flat shore with clear sea water, unique landscapes (first sandy beach at only 3 kms)... Torre Suda has a strategic position in the Salento: only ten minutes both from Gallipoli (North) and from Torre San Giovanni (South) are an advantage for the tourist. It is easy to move to reach more important touristic destinations of the region. "

Means of access :

BY CAR: Leave the “A14” motorway in South direction and go on for Bari-Brindisi-Lecce-Gallipoli along the "Adriatica" freeway in South direction. When you will arrive close to Gallipoli, you will have not to enter in this town but you will have to keep on the freeway (n. 274) in the direction of “St. Maria Di Leuca”. Turn right when you will find “Mancaversa-Lido Pizzo” indication, (at the KM n. 4 of the “274” freeway) after about 6 km from first Gallipoli indication. Go on for Lido Pizzo, Mancaversa, Torre Suda. BY TRAIN: the railway station of Lecce is connected to all more important Italian stations. Please consult the website www.trenitalia.it for schedules of arrivals and departures; when you will arrive to Lecce, we advise you to hire a car to reach Torre Suda. BY AIRPLANE: The airport of Brindisi is the most close stop-over; when you will arrive to Brindisi, we advise you to hire a car to reach Torre Suda.

"It's a wonderful place, i would recommend this villa to anyone. the owners are really nice and always helping, if needed. My advice is to go there by car, because you will need one to go around to see all enviroments."

"It's a beautiful house, we had an excellent time, but to be able to visit the surroundings you must have a car. The beach is rocky in some areas, but is ideal for snorkelling, so if you want a sandy one you should go 1-2 km away. Owners are very nice and if you ever need anything they are there for you."

The house was well enough described except that there was only one shower room, the second shower (cold water only) was outside in the yard. The water pressure in the shower inside was very poor and there was a lingering smell of drains from the shower room, which is below street level. The additional cost for sheets and towels, consumables and final cleaning was quite high and should be specified in the description. In hot weather an additional fan in the house would be an advantage. Although the house is very near the sea, a car is essential since good sandy beaches are not within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday very much. The owner is very pleasant. The area is quite underdeveloped and frequented mainly by Italian tourists which suits us very well.

herzlicher Empfang durch die Besitzerin und deren Sohn. Schönes Haus, jedoch direkt an einer relativ stark befahrenen Strasse gelegen. Somit somit für Ruhesuchende nicht geeignet. Schöne Dachterasse (leider ohne Sonnenschutz) und gedeckter Balkon. Schöner Garten. Leider lässt die Küchenausstattung zu wünschen übrig.

" Finora nessuno mai si è lamentato del traffico. la copertura solare non è precisata nella descrizione e nessuno mai l'ha richiesta. Tutto ciò che è riportato nella descrizione, relativamente alle attrezzature in cucina è realmente presente e soddisfacente per una breve vacanza. Preciso che l'affittuario non ha porto alcuna lamentela durante il suo soggiorno nonostante la mia presenza in loco."

"Uitermate vriendelijke eigenaars. Net en aangenaam verblijf. Huis in villawijk, ongeveer 200 m van de kust. Rotsstranden, maar zandstranden in omgeving. Gallipoli erg gezellige stad ! (en dichtbij)"
