rental apartment 4/6 pax in Tignes

"We thought that this apartment was fantastic - great location, ideal for ski rental, didn''t have to keep ski equipment in the flat, nice tranquil setting and very helpful Intersport staff. I would like to commend Pauline who has been most helpful throughout the booking process and very timely in responding to any queries sorting out passes and car parking so that we felt all ready to go when we arrived. Points for improvement? We flew from UK rather than drove. Although I appreciate the apartment is self-catering, it would have been good either to have had it suggested in the advert that people consider these sorts of things and bring 7 dishwasher tablets with them and/or to have provided 7 dishwasher tablets/a bottle of fairy liquid - we had to buy full packets of these sorts of things which is irking and surplus to requirements. We were not told how the hot water worked and it had been turned off so we ran out! (Staff were very helpful in coming up and sorting this but there was a momentary "crisis"). Similarly, we were not told where the washing machine/dryer were and thought for a moment that there wasn''t one (it is outside the apartment). Finally, we thought that a suggested exit time of 0900 (it says 0930 on the document but 0900 was suggested to my partner in the shop the might before)was difficult to meet and it made the last morning a bit "frantic" and ill-tempered. Again I appreciate that cleaners have to get in but with an incoming time of 1700, 1000-1100 would give more scope and is a more usual hotel type arrangement? I do not want to criticise and these points are meant to help/inform rather than to complain - we had a GREAT time and would come back like a shot!"
