Located in a quiet environment with a wild nature (natural reserve), Quinta da Murteira is a property isolated in the hills, hidden at the end of a sandpath of about 1,5 km, but nevertheless at only 1/4h's drive to the town of Tavira, its lagoon, its bird reserve and its beautiful beaches. You will be able to enjoy a very nice weather, birds watching, nice walks, beautiful starry skies or simply relax by the pool (for resident's exclusive use). Situated at 30 km from Faro airport, Quinta da Murteira, being situated centrally in the Sotavento (Leeward) Algarvio (Eastern part of the Algarve) could be the departing point for a day at the beach or to discover the South of Portugal or even the close Andalusia (Spain is only 40 km away and you will only have to drive 180 km to reach Seville). If you play golf, you will find many golf courses in the area.
