It is also perfectly located for going to Connemara National Park and sailing to the Aran Islands. Spiddle town is nearby where there is a beautiful craft centre and cafe and many restaurants serving excellent seafood. Galway City is only a 20 minute drive away, which hosts art and cultural festivals and the famous Galway Races in the summer.In Galway there are a lot of historical sites,pubs, shops and a market on Saturday morning. There is also a Shop and two Pubs within a 10-min walk of the cottage.
