apartment/ flat - Sirmione

"We stayed at this apartment as the fifth apartment on our 3 month Italian family holiday (all booked through Homelidays). The owners welcomed us on arrival and are very friendly and accomodating. The apartment is in a small group of 4 located in a suburban area, with a small deli across the street for bread/milk etc and delicious takeaway pizza place at the end of the street. The fixtures, kitchenware. etc could do with some updating, but everything was very clean. The bedlinen and towels provided was quite old and worn (but clean of course). Note that there is no oven or microwave oven, just a cooktop. There is a bus-stop directly in front of the apartment, which you can catch to go to Sirmione (3km away) – generally however we would advise a car to get around. Our children thoroughly enjoyed Gardaland (twice!), which is about 20 mins away by car, and easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay in Lake Garda."

"C''est la 4ème année que nous réservons cet appartement et nous avons retrouvé tout ce qui nous y a toujours plu. Hormis sa configuration,un accueil très sympathique de Karin, la situation privilégiée du logement, au calme tout en étant à proximité du lac, de Sirmione, de Peschiera... Famille GAVEY"

"Le logement se trouve dans une rue TRES passante (l''arrêt de bus est devant la porte). L''immeuble est bruyant (tout en béton, les bruits se transmettent). Bien situé pour la plage et les courses. Sirmione est à + de 4km : très loin à pied sous le soleil, parking très cher). Les propriétaires sont accueillants et à proximité. Beaucoup d''explications et de documentation. L''équipement de la cuisine est ancien et vraiment insuffisant (peu d''ustensiles, 1 vieille poêle, cafetière très sale et qui fuit.) Nous pensons que la propriétaire peut faire facilement beaucoup mieux. Les chambres sont très bien, la machine à laver appréciable. Attention le linge n''est pas prévu mais seulement les draps. Nous n''avons pas eu de chance avec, en plus du bruit habituel, des travaux dans l''appartement et le jardin en-dessous."
