" Casa no Ar is set high up in the Serra de Sintra, a World Heritage protected Natural Park, and has breathtaking views to the Atlantic coast and to the mountains of Sintra. Just above the picturesque village of Penedo, with its church square, one shop, one cafe/restaurant, one bakery, and a fountain that gushes fresh spring water. Casa no Ar - Main house (sleeps 6/8) Pool House (sleeps 2). Main house has big country Kitchen/Diningroom with old wine press and flagstone floors. The Livingroom has a fireplace, a varandah, and connects the garden through a natural rock garden. One suite, double bed and small bathroom. Another suite, double bed, large bathroom and stairs up to two children's low-ceiling sleeping lofts, each with single bed and pull-out bed, each with window to the sunny garden. At the top of the garden is the POOL HOUSE with 1 double bedroom, bathroom, and Sitting area (1 child's bed) and kitchenette. There is a covered BBQ-dining area next to the Pool "

Penedo is a 5 minute drive to Colares, or Almoçogem the nearest towns for shopping, banks, etc. Several beaches: Praia Adraga, quiet beach with my favourite restaurant; Praia Grande (famous with surfers) and Praia Maças with restaurants and bars, are all within 5-10 minute drive. Sintra's historical villa is 15 minute drive, and Cascais/Estoril about 20 minutes. Lisbon about a 30-40 minute driveIn the area:

la casa está en un sitio precioso, pero por las fotos que nos envió confundimos la casa de la propietaria, que está en el piso superior con la nuestra (mucho más pequeña)y con menos comodidades, pasamos frio y no tenía televisor. lo demás todo muy bien
