" Castelo do Bode is ideal for fluvial beaches and crystal clear water for swimming. Canoeing and fishing are also possible. Great for bike riders with many cross-country scenic routes (2 bikes available in the garage). Also good for walking with many cross-country walks. Lovely patio ideal for outdoor dining, BBQs or simply chilling out. Excellent base for visiting the Marian Shrine of Fatima, (place of pilgrimage - 30km)and also an ideal base for visitng the Annual Horse Fair in Golega in November every year (30km) "
