House / Villa - Sarlat

"A nice house, and a wonderful location. Two bedrooms up, one down (not really 5 rooms though, since the kitchen + dinette area + living room are all one large room on the main floor). A great location - very close (7-10 minute walk) to the medieval center of town. The oversized terrace and pool (heated for a small fee) were beautiful, and offered significantly more "living space" (weather permitting of course). A little park/play area attached to the property was a real treat - our 3 year old daughter loved the swing set. Also seeing the pony in the field right next door. The house faces south with a great view overlooking the town. There were also kids toys, a croquet set and games and books inside. Only complaints (minor) was that the internet, while reliable, had no range out to the pool deck. And the cable/satellite TV was unreliable. Some days we''d get all the channels, others only a few. Jean and his cousin Etienne were very attentive to our needs and genuinely care about their guests. All in all a great stay and we wouldn''t hesitate to return."

"The Sarlat accommodation was perfect for us. The house itself is south facing, in a quiet location, with wonderful views across the town valley. It was only a very short drive into town or the large supermaket. One could easily walk. Our 14 year old son especially loved that there was a pool table, fussball table and a pool (although it was too cold for us to make use of the pool itself). Inside, the house is spacious, roomy and very pleasant. The kitchen is also well equipped with the necessary items. Sarlat is a very beautiful town and we certainly enjoyed our many trips around the countryside. We would definitely come here again."

"Fantatic holiday destination, we had a wonderful time. It was great for children, fantastic pool and views over Sarlat. Everything we needed was supplied with the villa. Jean and Etienne made the whole holiday experience thoroughly enjoyable."

"Tout simplement fantastique, en plein centre du Périgord noir, une région qui mérite d''être découverte en prenant son temps. Une semaine n''est pas de trop dans la région. Sarlat, un petit village très sympathique, les gens très gentils lors de jour du marché, bon restos, quoique nous ayons surtout profité de la maison pour se préparer des petits repas en famille tout en se disputant des matchs amicales de billard en fin de soirée. Marchand, épicier, boulanger tous à 500 mètres de marche. En somme, un endroit très agréable et sécuritaire pour des vacances en famille "
