" Monte Horizonte is located in the wonderful Alentejo region of Portugal at only 15 minutes from the beach and just five minutes of the historic city Santiago do Cacém. It is run completely on solar and wind energy.
On 20 hectares of land and partly in a national eological reserve, Monte Horizonte Holiday is located halfway Lisbon and the Algarve which makes it possible to reach completely different beaches in just a short while.
We have two guesthouses, Casa Borboleta and Casa Pássaro. Each holiday house is 64 m2 with large livingroom, open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and are suitable for 4 to 6 people each. The houses are fully fitted with modern conveniences. And of course there is a pool.
The region is an idyllic spot for those seeking sun, relaxation, nature and local culture. It is also a year-round destination for fans of the great outdoors, with cycling, mountain biking, walking, horse riding, bird watching, nordic walking and water sports among the many activities available.

Means of access From Santiago do Cacém you go in the direction of Cercal do Alentejo. After the junction to Aldeia dos Chaos there is after 1,7 km. a road to your left. Here is a sign Monte Horizonte.
Follow the telephone lines and poles and after 1 km. you are at Monte Horizonte.
