The building is divided in five apartments with private terrace and is surrounded by a land of five hectares with a huge swimming pool, rich citrus orchards, flowers and silent foothpaths. The enormous swimming pool is open all year round. On the ground floor there is a covered parking. The apartments and the terraces offer both stunning Volcano views and endless views of the whole eastern coastline as far as Taormina,Giardini Naxos and Catania. Villa EtnaMare has recently been built. All the interiors are entirely new and carefully chosen. All the apartments are air-conditioned and consist of a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet and a living room with open kitchen, dining table, a sofa bed of good quality and a sliding door with access to the terrace which is equipped with parasol and garden furniture. See the personal website of the owner" Santa Venerina is 30 kilometres away from Catania, with its Baroque, its vibrant markets, restaurants and bars, and just 15 kilometres away from Acireale , a pretty little city, known for its Baroque churches and for its Carnival. Gardini Naxos, the first colony founded in Sicily by the Greeks, is just 25 km from Santa Venerina (15 minutes with the highway). It is a popular area for tourists seeking both culture and beaches. Next to Giardini Naxos we find Alcantara Gorge and Taormina, famous for its Greek/Roman theatre with a unique view of Mount Etna. Travelling south, one hour's drive away lies Syracuse. Santa Venerina is also an excellent starting point from which to explore Mount Etna and its surroundings. The towns and villages that dot the flanks of Etna, such as Zafferana Etnea, Trecastagni and Randazzo, are famous for their ancient lava flows, the architecture of their seventeenth century churches and their delicious local products. The village is only 4 km away from Zafferana Etnea and 10 km from Rifugio Sapienza, the main ski area, where it is possible to take the Etna cableway. "
