My, my wife and kids had a wonderful vacation at Sala Comacina in April 2013. Very good location for exploring the Lake Como by car and by boats. Free parking and WiFi is available. Wonderful views from the balcony of the lake and mountains. The apartment is very clean, well-equipped, has a fireplace, which we was happy to use. Very pleasant hosts, many thanks to Valeria and Daniele.

"We spent wonderful 4 weeks in this property in summer 2012 and highly recommend it for a stay. The house is very cosy, the views are superb and the hosts Valeria and Daniele are the frienliest people. Our 1-year old Alisa highly enjoyed playing in the garden, feeding the chicken and chasing the cat. The terrace as well as the garden are a perfect place to sunbathe during the day and watch the stars during in the night (beware of mosquitoes though). The kitchen is well equipped and I actually felt like cooking every day. Of course, there was always the option of delicious Italian food from Valeria and home-made wine from Daniele. The village of Sala Comacina, though small, is notable for some of the best views on the lake (we compared:). It has a small sand beach, which is not very suitable for adults but a good place for children to play. Also we found Sala Comacina to be conveniently located: it is not far from the town of Como, Milano and is also close to pretty villages Lenno, Tremezzo, Menaggio. We did not have a rental car (though highly advisable) but found it rather ok to travel by bus. Ferry is a great way to explore the lake. Unfortunately, they stop in Sala Comacina only 3 times a day (each way), but if you go to Lenno (like 5 mins drive), you will find boats stopping at least once each hour, from there you can go to Bellagio and Varenna. Overall, we highly recommend this property for vacation."

"The appartment is very comfortable and clean, kitchen is very good equipped. The garden is beatiful, the fruits and vegetasbles from the garden are delicious and the view from the balkony to the lake is like on the postcard. The hospitality of the owners must be marked with "5+".Just one small minus is the church bells, which ring every hour. However, to close windows helps. Besides of this, every village around the lake has a church with a bell."

"Schöne, sehr saubere Wohnung mit herrlicher Aussicht. Super nette Vermieter, immer bemüht und äusserst hilfsbereit. Wir wurden bereits am ersten Urlaubstag aus einem extremen Gewitter mit Dauerregen befreit, indem der Vermieter alle Lokale abklapperte um uns zu finden und uns Regenschirme zu überreichen. Unbedingt die Küche von Valeria probieren, sehr zu empfehlen."
