" Recent building, ideally located,near the beach,very peaceful, well decorated,large terrace.It's near two artifficial lakes and the 70% of the resort is of green zones.The apartment is situated within a new building complex, which is located just 100 meter from the beach (to the south), next to the golf course (to the east) and near a lake (to the west). You can enjoy an excellent sea view from the terrace of 60 m2. There is a communal area inside the building with 2 shared swimming pool and gardens. Individual underground parking directly connected by a lift. Situated on the top floor of a 2 storey high building, the apartment has 2 excellent private terraces. The first of 10 m2 is ideal for breakfast/dinner and the second, a roof top terrace, is perfect for sunbathing or barbecues. The place is very well looked-after. You can enjoy walking or cycling in a totally natural site. To the right, there is a big lake with bridges and benches to sit and benefit of peace and tranquillity. If you want to practice your swing, at no more than five minutes to the east you will find the magnificent 18-hole golf course specially designed by Jose Maria Olazábal. The site is surrounded with supermarkets, shops, bars, and restaurants. The beach is composed of fine white sand. Warm temperatures most of the year and infrequent rain, guarantees being able to enjoy the sun, relaxing on the sand, sharing pleasant moments with friends or family. Means of access :
Costa Ballena is located in the province of Cadiz, between the towns of Rota and Chipiona. The easiest way to get there is by car. However, there’s a regular coach service from the main cities and surrounding towns. By car,From Jerez or El Puerto de Santa Maria, you should head to Rota and, before entering the town, carry on towards Costa Ballena or Chipiona. You’ll find the entrance to Costa Ballena a few minutes later on your left-hand side. It’s very well sign-posted. From Sanlucar de Barrameda, you would have to drive towards Chipiona and once there, head to Rota. You’ll see the signpost for Costa Ballena just before getting to Rota. Costa Ballena has 2 entrances. The east entrance is the one coming from Rota, and the main entrance is the one coming from Chipiona. Drive through the main entrance (recognizable by the big “v” shape weather vane and a stand of security control) and carry on to the end. You’ll see the beach in front of you and the Hotel Playa Ballena to your left. The street where the apartment is located is just opposite the hotel, on the right. By bus There’s a regular coach service from the main cities and surrounding towns all year round. Even from Rota town centre, there’s a public bus, which stops outside Hotel Playa Ballena.In the area:

"We are extremely grateful Jorge hospitality and care of all the little things that are so necessary away from home. We found everything that was required in each situation, from the blades for a barbecue to beach chairs, in the apartment there were even a mortar with pestle. Surroundings are very well - the ocean is GREAT, long deserted beach, lot of space for walking, and silence almost everytime and everywhere except the time when Spain won EURO-2012 :-). Huge product market MERCADONA is nearby (900m) with several restaurants, shops, car rent and bicycle rent. We used Internet USB Wi-Fi kindly provided us and it worked with no problem in good speed during all our 2 weeks staing. Hope see this place you again. "Jorges apartment is ideal for a couple, it is bright and clean, and extremely well equipped. The sun terrace on top with its BBQ is a real bonus, and the shower is great! We enjoyed our stay, Costa Ballena is friendly and very peaceful, we will definitely return. Thank you Jorges for a lovely stay!"

"This property is highly recommended for a couple, or as in our own case, a couple with a young child. The facilities are very clean and you have everything required for your stay. The roof terrace is a real bonus, and is an excellent way to spend those warm evenings. The owner met us personally on arrival and he was particularly helpful in explaining all that the Rota and surrounding area had to offer. The proximity to a most wonderful beach is a real plus, although it did get busy at the weekends. The one downside, was that the use of a swimming pool was advertised in the property description, but this was not available in reality. Whilst one could walk to a superb golf course, and a few local shops, there were very few restaurants within comfortable walking distance. A car is an essential, and is very well cared for in the underground on-site parking area. Very few complaints though, and we had a superb holiday in Costa Ballena, made all the better by the friendliness and the professionalism of the property owner."
