The house is situated in a "finca" (farm) that has olive trees as well as a wide variety of flora. The front terrace is shaded by two 100-year old olive trees which are still harvested for their fruit.
Depending on the time of year, the owner, Antonio, will be more than happy to share some of his fresh garden vegetables -- lettuce, green peppers, tomatoes, etc.
The entrance drive to the house is lined with mature "romero" - rosemary bushes, which guests can use as they desire.
Located only five minutes drive from the centre of the Moorish town of Ronda, Villa Ana is set in a mountain valley where nothing much happens. If you are looking for a place where the parents can relax while the children enjoy the pool or the swing set -- this is it.
