The interior is of a high standard combining locally made furniture with touches of English soft furnishings.The open plan sitting room and dining area result in a feeling of spaciousness and light.
Gemita is a truly delightful holiday retreat, which comfortably accommodates four people. It has central heating for winter holidays and an enclosed private pool, measuring 5m by 3m, for summer holidays.
Gemita has recently been fully renovated. It was once part of a very large estate, which mainly grew sunflowers as a crop, and fields of these can still be seen,in season, in the surrounding area. To the north are the mountains of the Grazalema Sierras and to the south are rolling hills and the beautiful historic town of Ronda.
Linen, towels (but not swimming towels) and a weekly cleaning service are provided for the comfort of our guests. We would request that there is no smoking in the property.

Means of access Directions are sent to guests once we know which airport is being used: Malaga, Seville, Granada and Jerez are all within reach. The owners live in Montecorto and meet the guests at an easily accessible rendezvous in order to welcome them and escort them to the property.
Hints and Tips The coast is an hour's drive away - Marbella and San Pedro - plus Cadiz and Gibraltar are both within reach.There are numerous "White Villages" to be visited, plus Ronda, Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Jerez all have interesting features.
It is the region that introduced the Flamenco to dancing, so shows are regularly performed.
