" Self contained bedsit in the heart of ancient Rome, in the quarter of Monti, just round the corner from the Roman Forum and near the Colosseum. Comfortably sleeps 2. Can sleep 4 on request. The flat has one large room (30 m2) with kitchen corner and bathroom with shower. Recently restructured, it is simply furnished and practical. It is on the ground floor with an independent entrance opening directly onto the street and there are two high circular windows that look onto an internal condominium corridor. The flat is therefore dark and while ideal for tourism or work, it is less suited for study or research. A great advantage of the flat is its central position: within walking distance of the main archaeological and cultural sites in Rome. Bus stations and a metro station are also very nearby. The location is highly suited for cultural holidays but entertainment, night clubs and pubs, restaurants and pizza houses, shops, theatre, cinema (with films in original language), are all close at hand with prices for all pockets. The area is very central, yet quiet and safe. In the summer however, mopeds or the voices of passers-by could cause disturbance. The loft platform will be used only when 4 beds are requested. Because of access by ladder, the platform is not advisable for the elderly, disabled or for very small children. When booking, guests should specify the sleeping arrangements required. Twin beds are available but in the absence of instructions to the contrary, a double bed will be prepared. Arrival should not be before 12 noon on the first day, and guests should leave the flat free by 10a.m. on the day of departure. This is to allow cleaning and preparation for the next guests.
