" This huge and fascinating villa surrounded by greenery has been built at the beginning of the 1900. The current owners have restored the whole villa and made it modern respecting the architectural rules of the olden times .There is a garden of 300 square metres with lemon and orange trees. On the ground floor there is a lecture room with a piano and the bookcase, a large hall provided with a satellite plasma tv with the home- theatre system, a fireplace and a professional hi-fi system, a lounge room for 12 guests, a big kitchen provided with electric and steam oven, a fridge with two doors with an ice mincer, a larder, a laundry, a little terracewhere you can have breakfast and a bathroom and a double bed-room with bath-room with independent entrance. At the first floor you can find a big queen size bedroom with a fireplace, a guest-double bedroom with a shower and a sauna for two people, two single bedrooms and another bathroom with a showel.. At the last floor you can find the studio and the large,equipped terrace. "

" Things to do and see in the area: a walk to the top of the Janiculum hill (from Piazza Garibaldi you can enjoy a spectacular and romantic view of the city). il Fontanone (Gianicolo's fountain). The church of S.Pietro in Montorio, by the Bramante (the church is built on the spot where, according to the legend, S Peter was crucified). The Basilica of S.Pancrazio and the catacombs built underneath it. Villa Doria-Pamphili and the surrounding park, and Villa Sciarra, the first among the Roman villas to be opened to the public. At night the adjoining and lively quarter of Trastevere offers a wide choice of pubs wine bars and restaurants. "

"We had a very good time and really felt at home, very nice house, the rooms were very spacious, full of light with high ceilings. We especially appreciated the very quiet neighbourhood and nice atmosphere. Connections also were quite good. There is a tram that brings you right in the hearth of Rome quite quickly, it has a dedicated lane so it doesn’t get stuck in traffic."

"We got there by chance, cause we had had troubles with another place we had previously booked, but it was a lucky chance. I had been in Rome already, but I had stayed close to the main train station. The city is very beautiful, but sometimes can be quite chaotic. In this area we were very close to the centre, and well connected, but it was so green and quiet, it felt like a safe refuge at the end of the day. We got to see another side of the town, less touristy and more Roman. The house was very nice too, the garden well kept and the rooms really nice…. The people in the nearby shops don’t speak much English so bring an Italian dictionary!!"

"It was a wonderful experience to feel Roman life from inside and to spend some days "being like genuine Romans" in a stylishly renovated liberty period house. Very well-organised house with big marble staircase in the middle of it. We appreciated a delightful roof garden for evening long drink and green patio around the house with a possibility of outside dining. After long excursions in the city we relaxed in the sauna and jacuzzi. There are plenty of charming shops, small restaurants and bakeries in the neighbour streets which we used as local people. The main feature of the house is a chance to feel yourself not tourists but local in such a big city like Rome. Very convenient link to the city historical centre with all of the touristic attractions!"

"Très belle villa, bien située à Rome. Les indications et les plans reçus par mail sont très utiles. Bien reliée par les trams à tout le reste de la ville, malheureusement, ils ne fonctionnaient pas lors de notre séjour (maintenance) et les bus de remplacement n''étaient pas agréables... La villa est superbe, beau jardin, belle terrasse et belles chambres. Le seul bémol, c''est que la visite à notre arrivée a été expédiée en cinq minutes, c''est rapide. Un peu plus de temps et de convivialité aurait été agréable... "

"Environnement très décevant. Très peu de services à proximité. La villa n''était pas très propre. La terrasse sur le toit n''était aucunement semblable à ce que l''annonce présente. Nous n''avons vraiment pas apprécié la présence de l''oiseau domestiqué (corbeau) des propriétaires dans la salle de lavage avec en prime ses excréments... La chambre au sous-sol était très humide et aucunement accueillante. Nombreux problèmes également avec le système électrique causant plusieurs pannes de courant dans la Villa. Location très décevante."
