Splendid villa near VaticanHouse with garden

"The apartment is well situated approximately 10 minutes walk from Cornelia metro station. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment which was very good for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. Only 1 bedroom had air conditioning, which is essential in July, especially after seeing the sights. The family that own the villa are very friendly and live on site.There is a good supermarket just next door, for all your needs. The road the apartment is on can be busy and therefore noisy, but you get used to it. Cornelia Metro station is on Line A, where most of the tourist spots are, so it was easy to get from the apartment to the major sights. the Colleseum is on Line B and you must change at termini station, which is very busy and a chore to get through. I would avoid any apartments that require you to get Line B all the time, as its very busy and you then have to change at Termini everytime for Line A. Too much messing about. The best way to get to the apartment from Da Vinci airport is by taxi, unless you want to carry you case through the trains,people and escaltors.It only cost us, a family of 4, 60 euro right to the door of the apartment. use the shuttle taxi stand in the terminal departure area. The train to Termini station is 14 euro each, then you have to get another train, too much hassle! If your going to Rome we would recommend this apartment, there's even a couple of nice resturants close by, if you did't want to eat in Rome centre."

"We were realy suprised - villa is better than in the photos and description! Two person apartment on the ground floor and 4-5 person apartment on second floor, two places in garden, supermarket in few steps, quite and family-like place. Very nice owners, beautiful garden where to spend an evening after noisy and dusty centre. We will absolutely take this villa next time in Rome."

"Die Unterkunft war sehr gut, sauber, ordentlich und für römische Verhältnisse wirklich ruhig, dennoch sehr gute Erreichbarkeit mit Bus und Metro. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte ein bisschen besser sein, gerade wenn man im recht teuren Rom nicht jeden Tag essen gehen möchte, sondern mit den frischen Zutaten aus dem nahe gelegenen Supermarkt selbst kochen will. Fehlendes Schneidebrett, geringe Anzahl von Geschirr, Besteck und Kochtöpfen."

"Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und vor allen Dingen sehr nette vermietung. Wir haben Obst aus dem garten geschenkt bekommen und die Leute waren sehr freundlich und haben sich völlig auf uns eingestellt. Ideale Unterkunft für Studenten! Bis auf die Krankenwagen aus dem naheliegenden Krankenhaus für römische ´Verhältnisse extrem ruhig gelegen! In Riesenstadt durch den kleinen garten gut zum Abschalten! Vielen Dank für die nette Betreuung!"
