" This penthouse occupies the top floor of a 5-floor condominium, ideally located in the very heart of quiet Ipanema and surrounded by small cafes, bars and restaurants; all you need is on your doorstep. It is very close to the Ipanema beach and Lagoa, where the Cariocas exercise during the day, while nearby there are also banks, supermarkets, shops, the famous Hippy Market on Sundays, etc. The building is equipped with security cameras and a doorman; lift access is to the 4th floor with one extra flight of stairs to reach the apartment on the 5th floor. The apartment comprises a generous living room with comfortable sofa bed, flat screen TV, wi-fi internet, and its own bathroom; a beureau; a bedroom with European standard mattress and private bathroom; a complete and well-equipped kitchen; 100% cotton quality linen and towels and a wonderful terrace for sunbathing while reading under the Rio sun. Quoted rates are inclusive for 2 people; for additional guests (2 maximum) there will be an extra charge. Pets are not allowed. For prolonged stays, we can arrange for weekly cleaning, to be paid separately. Daily service is not included. A cleaning fee and laundry change is charged R$ 120 at the end of the rental period. NOTE: There is an upper room in the apt that is not included in the rental because used by the owner as a storage room. "

"Good size accomodation ideally for a couple with good wifi and plenty of working desk space for 2 people...good quality bed..2 showers..large terrace with view over courtyards rather than sea..quiet at night...easy 5 mniute stroll to beach..same to metro..secure space to store bikes if you hire them..fully eqipped kitchen..owner and local agent pleasant and helpful..all in all a very good place to stay in Rio"

"The apartment was perfect. We were four people (two couples) and it never felt cramped. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. And the patio was a great added bonus - perfect for drinks after a day out on the town. The owner and manager were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again."

"Localisation optimale pour un séjour à Rio : Ipanema, Copacabana, Lagoa, Leblon accessibles à pied. Quartier hypersûr, animé et très agréable. Tous commerces, restos, bars à proximité . Appartement agréable, fonctionnel, bien équipé, dégageant un bon feeling. La terrasse (malgré l''absence de réelle vue) est un plus certain. Excellente organisation pour le check in et le check out. bon rapport qualité-prix."
