" We are leaving our home only for the pleasure of coming back to it !!! On the South hand, the house is built around a 55m² swimming pool, its terrasse and the ping-pong area. From there, you can admire the whole Tarn valley. During summer, the house and the terrasse is surrounded by flowers. Unfortunatly, we only have a winter picture! On the West hand, there is a big play yard beside the fruit trees and the vegetables garden. No danger for children, no cars. Perfectly quiet. In the back of the house, you can go for a walk on a path that will take you among the fiels where you will see horses and cows. The house is very big, confortable, homy and well decorated. You will fill like at home! If they want, kids and adults can relax separetly without disturbing each other because of the 3 living rooms, the study room and the mezzanine. We leave our cat, Titoune. She is an adorable pet and love children. Of course, she can stay outside if you wish. In the house, you will find a lot of documentation to plan your cultural and outdoor visits. "

" The house is some 4 km away from downtown Rabastens. This is a nice quiet town with a centre dating back to the XII th century. It has a colourful open-air market every Saturday morning. Downtown Rabastens is built along the river Tarn, where there are nice quiet walks to be had next to the water at the foot of the majestic bridge that crosses the Tarn and takes you out of the city. The main attractions around the city are natural panorama, vineyards and historical centers of interest. The area is breathtakingly beautiful with its mild hilly landscapes, where the light is particularly suitable for landscape photography from 6 to 8 p.m., when the daylight turns yellow-to-orange. The area around Rabastens has plenty of fields and woods and is ideal for walking, cycling, track biking and roller skating. There’s a comprehensive network of hiking tracks with adequate maps. In the town of Carmaux, there’s a 45 km network of biking tracks set in a former open sky coal mine. In the forest of Buzet and Sivens, you have “health tracks”, with various open-air activities. Alongside the Canal du Midi are various stretches of cyclable paths running through both city and countryside. Also around Rabastens you will find a number small leisure lakes where different water sports are possible (swimming, water skiing, etc.). Of course, do not miss Carcassonne, Albi and Toulouse.
