Quite place, ideal for a relax & nature holiday, nice starting point for discovering Lake Como and Lake Lugano, at just 7 km from the lakeside and Menaggio, where you can find all services and sports The apartment occupies the entire first floor of a villa that was an ancient farmstead, restored in 2009 respecting original forms and materials. It overlooks the characteristic village of Breglia, it has a spacious terrace and private garden, with outdoor table and chairs, and it borders with a vaste private forest (lake view and rich in wildlife as deer, wild boar and foxes) at our guests disposal. The apartment has a large and bright living room with a fireplace with glassdoor, tv, dvd, sofabed, easy chairs; a modern super equipped kitchen ; a wedding bedroom and a twin bedroom, served by a bathroom with shower and washing machine. See the personal website of the owner" Quiet location, ideal for trekking lovers and for a relaxing holiday, combining the lake and mountains, Breglia has a splendid position overlooking Lake Como. It is on an old way connecting Milan and Como with Alps and Germany; the house is directly on the "Via dei Monti Lariani": part of the "Sentiero Italia"(Italia footpath). The village is surrounded by forests rich in wildlife. The historic center of Breglia is pedestrian only, car access at 30 m by the apartment; a large public parking is 100 m by the house. At 50 m good restaurant and bar; at 100 m public park for children, area for football and wolleyball, bus stop. At 400 m the spring of the natural mineral water "Chiarella". At 2 km mini-market. From Breglia start numerous hikings for all levels of difficulty. On the mount Grona there is the Rifugio Menaggio (easy route, 1h walk) and the via ferrata for mountaineering enthusiasts. From the church of S. Amate (2 hours walk) extraordinary view of the lakes of Como, Lugano and Alps. In Menaggio (7km) you will find all kinds of services and sports as the famous “Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club"; there are piers of departure for excursions by boat (Bellagio 10 min, Varenna 12 min, and many other nice places) and the bus terminal for every directions.
