The condo has a magnificent private rooftop solarium with a jacuzzi tub, chaise-lounges and garden. Off the master is a wonderful balcony with a thatched palapa roof, so you can enjoy the shade like the Mexicans. The condo measures approximately 1,250 square feet (about 115m2) and is professionally decorated with a view to comfort. With a fold-down sofa, this condo can sleep 6 comfortably. The kitchenette is well-equipped, the condo has central air conditioning, and there are safes in each of the 2 bedrooms. The condo has satellite TV (US stations in English), DVD player, high-speed wireless internet access, and a Vonage phone with free calls to the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, France and Puerto Rico. There is an off-street, reserved parking space belonging to the unit. Built in 2004, the complex has only 9 units, so it is quite private and quiet, and the building has an outdoor splash pool for the exclusive use of its tenants. Across the street from a soccer pitch, which is great for jogging or watching the locals play soccer, it's in a great location for a great holiday experience!

Means of access Playa del Carmen has its own domestic airport, or if flying internationally you can fly into Cancun's International Airport (which is approximately 15 miles or 25 km away). Buses are frequent and taxi cabs are everywhere in this tourist area. The condo is situated in an area where you can walk anywhere you wish to go for beach, water sports, shopping or dining, so a car is unnecessary.
Hints and Tips In such a wonderful location, with friendly people, lots to do and amazing scenery, Playa del Carmen will surely satisfy your vacation dreams! With Cancun just up the road, the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Chichen Itza, Coba and Ek Balam nearby and the island of Cozumel accessible from Playa del Carmen's ferry dock, Playa is a great spot to enjoy what Mexico has to offer. Water sports galore are available such as deep-sea fishing, diving, snorkelling, sailing, jet skiing, and kite boarding. If you are a landlubber, you may wish to take in a jungle tour instead, or just relax on the beautiful white sandy beach. Nightlife in the area is active, and bar-hopping is definitely a possibility!
