You get to meet people from allover the world, there are many exquisite restaurants and bars and plenty of discothecs. But if you want to spend time away from the crowd, there are plenty of serene beaches left, easily to reach with your rental car or you drive to one of the many mayan ruine sites, full of history and mistery. "
