The house is a good starting point for visits to the major art cities in Tuscany such as Pisa, Florence and Carrara with its famous marble quarries. From this area the guest may also easily reach some of the minor centres of Tuscany such as Pietrasanta, Camaiore and Torre del Lago in Versilia or, heading north towards the Garfagnana, Barga, Bagni di Lucca and Colognora.
