See the personal website of the owner" Perego is a village surrounded by lakes and mountains in the province of Lecco, in the Lombardy region in the north of Italy. It’s inside the Curon National Park. It has a population of about 1,600. The village is dominated by an ancient fort, a cloister and a church, believed to be from the thirteenth century. Perego is a medieval village, built on the first major hill overlooking the valley Rovagnate. The castle used to be the residence of the noble family de Perego in the twelfth century. This family gave birth to Leon de Perego (1241-1257) the 93rd Archbishop of Milan. Next to the castle is an ancient parish church dedicated to St. John the Evangelist, which dates back to the thirteenth century. Next to the new parish church stands a splendid arcaded courtyard similar in size and shape to a cloister. Perego is located in the heart of Brianza, bordering the National Park and Curone Montevecchia, surrounded by hills, near the mountains (Alps, Alps) and lakes (Lecco, Hanno, Pusiano Olginate). In Brianza can find several golf courses and riding stables. There are several spa centers, perfect conditions for trekking and hill areas favored for lovers of mountain biking. "
