Means of access
The house is just 90 minutes from the new Bangkok Airport (Suwarnabhumi) and taxi, limo or van transportation to and from can be easily arranged for minimal cost. It's a short walk to a taxi rank or bus stop to go into Pattaya City proper, although there is plenty of entertainment in the nearby vicinity. Motorcycle, bicycle and car rental are easily available. The community has a private keycard access through 24 hour manned security from beach or main street entrance. Electronic code access to house too - so no messing with keys either.
Hints and Tips
Any google search on Dongtarn Beach or Jomtien Beach will give you a wealth of information on activities and facilities available in this unique location. The beach offers a choice of well served concession deckchair facilities or alternatively more natural open sandy areas. The concessions offer full menu dining, drinks, massage, manicures, reading material, ice cream, pastries, DVDs as well as all sorts of souvenirs. A water park, great for kids, is just 5 minutes walk away. The golfing in the region is legendary with over 15 professional courses with easy driving distance. There are also numerous tourist attractions nearby, such as elephant parks, aquariums, temples, islands, go karts, bungy jumps, zoos, fishing parks, etc, etc.
