Only a few people know these peaceful small streets, dating from the 1920's, just a few minutes away from Belleville and its frantic atmosphere. There, you'll be in the best area for resting after spending the day touring through all of Paris monuments. Here, amid the cobbled streets, you'll discover charming houses, vineyards, a shared garden, beehives... and a wonderful view on the Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre. Quite a peace of heaven in Paris! The neighbourhood is driven by a will of "live well together", quite rare in Paris... "

" The classical and romantic 1900's Buttes Chaumont park (the biggest of Paris) just behind the flat is ideal for a family walk, jogging or a picnic on the open lawns. The Saint-Martin/Ourcq canal and La Villette pond are now a relaxing and enterely renovated strolling area, with boat tour possibilities, cafes and restaurants and a movie theater, just 10 mn away (walking) from the flat. Belleville area at 5 mn: Paris' China town, with its exotic ambiance, shops and restaurants! Don't miss the Lao-Siam restaurant, rue de Belleville. You'll also find there many cafes for having a dring at night, filled with young and lively parisians! Swiming-pool, shops and other restaurants are also nearby (a selection of nice places' addresses is placed in the flat). People from the shared garden will most certainly welcome you when it's open. Don't hesitate to push the gate. "
