TRANSPORTATIONS BY BUS Six bus lines pass nearby : n° 30 Etoile/gare du Nord, gare de l'Est, n° 54 Clichy/gare du Nord, n° 68 Denfert-Rochereau/Place de Clichy via Orsay and the Louvre museum, n° 74 to Hôtel de Ville, n° 80 Mairie du XVIIIe/Mairie du XVe via Champs-Elysées and Champ-de-Mars, n° 95 Gare Montparnasse/ Porte Montmartre via Saint-Lazare train station, Saint-Germain-des-Près. FROM THE AEROPORT For a ride in a taxi, from the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport, count around 40 euros. Otherwise take the train RER direct to Gare du Nord station and change to the subway, line n° 2 to porte Dauphine . Get down at "Place Blanche" station. Third possibility : take the Air France shuttle to the last stop, Etoile-Charles-de-Gaulle, then take the subway line n°2 to Nation. Get down at " Place Blanche ". From Orly airport, with a cab count 35 euros. You can also take the Air France shuttle to the last stop "Les Invalides" then the subway line n° 13 to Asnières-Saint-Denis. I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Veronique's studio. There is everything you need during vacation: TV, wireless internet, computer, fridge, full kitchen set, Paris travel guide books and maps, very comfortable double bed. Linen and towels are changed every week. Veronique is very hospitable and attentive to all the questions. The location is great - close to the metro/bus stops, attractions like Sacre Coeur, Montmartre, Moulin Rouge. I will totally recommend this studio to my friends and will come back myself with pleasure.

"Véronique, the owner, was super! I loved the appartment, I loved the place, I would certainly come back here and suggest the place to my friends. There is a computer and free wi-fi available, the radio and tv. The small kitchen area with oven and fridge allows to make great breakfast. The bed is very comfortable. I came earlier than 2 pm but I was let in without any problems. Véronique returned my deposit on the night before my actual leave trusting me with keys and that I would leave everything on its place. Very very nice!"

"Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist angesichts zahlreicher sexshops etc. zunächst irritierend, aber unproblematisch: Hier wohnen auch ganz normale Familien, so insbesondere auch in der kleinen Gasse, in der sich die Wohnung befindet. Man sollte wissen, daß sich die Toilette unabgetrennt im Studio selbst befindet (man kann einen Vorhang zuziehen) - wenn einen das nicht stört, kann man das Studio uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und sympathisch."

"Very nice location, right in the heart of Pigalle. Calm surrounding (cobblestoned narrow dead end street, absolutely no traffic) and the studio equipped with just everything you need for a comfortable stay in Paris. Friendly and helpful owner!"
