" The flat is located in the Montparnasse-Daguerre area. This is in the heart of Paris, an ideal position for tourism, shopping and going out. The flat is very quiet and the area is charming, quite busy and very typical of Paris. You will find everything you need around the corner in rue Daguerre: bakery, butchery, fishery, cheese shop, groceries, coffee shops, supermarkets, jazz clubs and a lot of very nice restaurants serving good and genuine French cuisine. A few hundreds meters away is the famous Montparnasse area, the heart of the intellectual and artistic life in Paris in the roaring 20s. The place where painters and writers used to live: Picasso, Modigliani, Fernand Leger then, a little later, Simone de Beauvoir and Jean Paul Sartre. In 15mns by subway you can reach most of tourism places of Paris. The closest subway stations are "Gaité" line 13 (5 mns on foot), "Raspail" line 4 & 6 (5 mms on foot), "Montparnasse" line 4,6, 12 (7 mms on foot) and "Denfert Rochereau" line 4,6 (7 mms on foot). You may also like to walk: It takes about 20mns on foot to get to the banks of the river seine and Notre Dame. The walk is actually very pleasant, passing by the Luxembourg garden, St Sulpice, the “quartier latin” and the St Michel fountain. The flat is ideal for 4 guests and still suitable up to 6 guests as they are 6 sleeps at all: One queen size bed in the separate bedroom and 2 double sleep convertible sofa in the living room and single. The flat is equipped with cable TV and internet. We provide bed linen and bath towels. Cleaning after you departure is included. "

Every monday evening the teachers go to play and sing in some of the restaurants of the area and they don't play to attract tourists but for the people living there.
