Best points You will love this 25sqm (278 sq feet) one-bedroom appartment, quiet and luminous, located just under the roof of a typical 1900's building, and fully renovated by an architect in early 2004. You'll climb six flights of stairs to reach it, but you will be rewarded by unobstructed East, North and West views over old roofs (even the Eiffel tower if you have a long neck! ). The place is strictly non smoking. The bedroom, illuminated by the morning sun, contains a convertible sofa-double bed (a small auxiliary mattress is also available for additional sleeping), a dressing and a working area. Should you need it, a high speed wireless Internet connection is available for your laptop, as well as a telephone with free calls throughout the world. The kitchen is independent, with an eating table for three people, two plates, a microwave-grill and a toaster. The bathroom is not only the place for a good shower, but also the vantage point from where to enjoy Parisian sunsets!
The published rate is for the first week, but shorter stays are possible, and discounts are available for longer stays (for example: one month for 990 euros all inclusive).

Means of access Connections are first rate. TGV high speed trains to Brittany, the Loire Valley (1 hour) and southwestern France are 7mn away by foot, as well as direct train or bus access to both Paris airports. A bus stops 100m away from the building, that goes to St Germain and Châtelet. The nearest subway stations are Gaité/Pernety and Denfert Rochereau. In any case, Paris is best visited by foot as it is a compact city and most places of interest are reachable with 45mn; however, you are welcome to use my bicycle if you wish.
Hints and Tips In the heart of the 14th district, this is a popular area, the Paris of Doisneau and Prévert. No big monuments nearby, therefore not many tourists, and the immediate surroundings abound with quaint streets, artist workshops, restaurants, cafés etc. . . There is an open-air food market nearby on Sundays, and an art market on Saturdays. Going north, the more crowded Montparnasse boulevards with their theaters and large terrasses are 10mn away by foot.
If we are here during the rental period, we will live next door on the same floor and will be more than happy to provide you with hints and advice on local life, good or "hidden" addresses etc. . .
