Duplex apartment - Palma de mallorca

"We have visited the apartment twice (October 2011 and November 20120. Aina and her sister Gloria were marvellous hosts explaining access buses from the airport plus running through all the details of the appliances in the apartment. They were also available by telephone during the whole of our stay to assist. We love the excellent food and wine in Palma and the apartment is very accessible to the wonderful fish and vegetable market plus a number of very local shops. A real joy was taking meals on the upstairs terrace in the sight of Palma cathedral. The terrace is great for sunbathing and reading as it is large and quiet. The bars and restaurants around the area are fun with a combination of local facilities with a cosmopolitan feeling from those enjoying themselves from the yacht basins nearby. The apartment is very central and secure. We have enjoyed our stays so much we shall certainly be returning."

"The flat is ideally located. It matches to our requirements (couple with a child of 2 years).Is is nice, fully equipped, and the best are the views on the cathedral from the terrace and to the castle from the living-room. The owner is so kind and helpful that we higly recommand the discover of this four stars flat. Valériane N."

"Great apartment! Small but very suitable for a family with two children. The location was perfect, we were within walking distance to everything, even the public beach. The owner was more than helpful before and during our stay. Our only wish would be to make the lovely roof top terrasse a bit more cosy since it adds a lot to the apartment."

We were the first tenants in this lovely apartment in Palma de Mallorca. The owner, Aina, was incredibly nice and helpful (if that was an option, I would give her 5 out of 5). We had a late flight and she waited till late to let us in. She very helpful in general. The apartment was very clean, everything was brandnew. There could have been some more kitchen utensils (but Aina was going to do something about that, the apartment was just finished a week earlier, so she didn't have time to get all the kitchen stuff) and we couldn't get the tv to work, but that didn't matter, because we didn't come to Mallorca to watch tv. :) The apartment is located on a very central place in Mallorca, which is excellent. It could get a bit noisy at night. The nearest beach is quite a long way away (no walking distance for small children and not really a great beach), but you can get on a bus nearby and in 15-20 minutes you can get to a great beach, so we didn't mind. Our 4-year old had a great time (very nice playground practically around the corner and she loves to explore stuff), but if you have younger children with less patience, I have to be honest and say maybe this is not the right place. There is a lovely terrace. The neighbour apparenty also uses this terrace, but we never saw her. very nice and quiet up there. There was a washing machine and a dishwasher, perfect. We advised Aina to also make WiFi available and she was definitely going to look into that (maybe it is already available?). We had a lovely week! By the way, we thought the German owners of the bar Coto (just down the street) were especially nice as well and we had great meals there.

"Il soggiorno a Palma di Maiorca è stato e stato molto piacevole, l’appartamento è veramente elegante e servito da tutte le comodità ed è situato logisticamente in un punto strategico dove si può raggiungere in 5 minuti sia i ristoranti in centro e i locali notturni lungo porto che abbondano per tutti i gusti. La proprietaria ci ha accolto gentilmente e ci ha fatto parcheggiare la nostra macchina vicino alla casa in un parcheggio sotterraneo molto comodo con sole 50 € la settimana e inoltre consigliato le spiagge più belle da visitare. La cosa che più utile è l’aria condizionata in tutte le stanze e il terrazzino dove si può mangiare e stendere con comodità visto che ci sta’ la lavatrice comoda per soggiorni anche più lunghi."
