Nestled in a lush garden full of roses and flowers ever-changing from season to season, a century-old country house, renovated with taste and love, awaits you. In the land surrounding the house you will find over 200 olive trees, fruit trees, a vegetable garden - strictly organically, a grove of acacia trees, a lovely greenhouse, and a traditional chicken coop. The estate boasts a range of solutions designed for the self-sufficiency of the farm, such as photovoltaic panels that produce electricity (and yet well hidden and located away from the main building), an heating system (radiators) fed with local wood and, finally, a recycle system that ensures rain water irrigation of the soil throughout the year. This quiet and magical "little paradise" is the ideal place for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway: not far from historical cities of art such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Siena and only 30 km from the Tuscan coast. In Palaia the local pub offers panini’s and quick dishes, the restaurant “Il Pettirosso” with typical Tuscan dishes, the wine bar “L’antica farmacia”, the pizzeria “Villa al borgo” with live music. A few kilometers away, in Colleoli there is the pizzeria “I tigli" and the inn "Alpaca" in Montecastello. In Villa Saletta you will find the bar “Dar Giannini”, a real gastronomic institution with its 50 years of activity. Here, after a snack of exquisite Parma ham, cheeses and Tuscan specialities, you can taste the famous “ponce alla livornese”, a name that is inspired by the “punch” this hot drink will give you, while experiencing the atmosphere of a bar from last century. "Le gîte est parfait, il est décorer avec goût, il se trouve dans la montagne, depuis la terrasse nous avons une vue superbe.Il est propre et calme.C''est le point de départ idéal pour faire la visite de Pise, Voltera, Florence ainsi que toutes les autres villes a voir en Toscane. Le propriétaire Lucas est accueillant et synpathique.Il nous apporte légumes et oeufs de sa production. Il y a un joli poulailier en dessous."
