" The refined house is situated in the historical centre of Orosei (according to the experts, it’s one of the most typical and well-preserved in Sardinia), few meters far from the central square of the village, but located in a reserved and quiet spot. It’s an ancient typical sardish residence, dated back to 1700 and restore in 2002 by an architect, respecting the traditional style and conforming the interiors to the modern needs. Some materials present in the original structure has been used: junipier, cane, tiled and slate floor. In the characteristic garden (50 mq) there are typical rustic art objects. The house (100 mq), has two floors. In the ground floor, you find: a living room, a little kitchen and a little wash-house provided with washbasin and walk-in cupboard. From the garden you can directly enter to the kitchen, a fascinating environment preserving intact the original barrel and ribbed vaults. The vivacious colours-walls, household good, the ancient daily use object, remember real life pictures. On the first floor you find two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a little balcony. The roof bearing structure has made with wood, cane and junipier beam. The red room directly takes you to the balcony and has a bunk bed. The green room has a twin bed. The house is 2km far from the wonderful “Marina di Orosei beach”, overlooking to the limpid waters of the homonymous gulf. In Orosei, the sun shines 300 days in the year. The mild climate makes this place an ideal holiday spot also during the low season. "

"The place is very pretty and clean, and I enjoyed my stay. I would a bit complain about the size of the shower (it is very small), and would be very happy to have there a small sofa or armchair to sit comfortably when reading a book. The hosts are nice people, and it was very thoughtful of them to leave some cold drinks for us and our little son. I also like Orosei, a small and charming town."

What a lovely property! Built in the 17th Century, the house maintains a lot of character in the period features, decor and the private and secluded cobble stoned courtyard. The house is centrally located in the centre of Orosei with access to the all the beaches of Nuoro (preferrably with a car). Local restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Highly recommended!

"Uns hat es in Orosei sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist toll gelegen und sehr schön hergerichtet. Es gibt allerdings entgegen der Beschreibung keine 4 sondern nur 3 Zimmer (eins ist eher ein Flur/Eingangsbereich) und auch keinen hauseigenen Stellplatz. Man muss entweder auf einem Parkplatz oder einem gebührenpflichtigen Parkstreifen parken. Wir würden aber jederzeit wiederkommen. Besonders jetzt im Herbst hatten wir noch super Badewetter und die Strände von Orosei sind ein Traum! Mille grazie a Franca e Salvatore"

"Es war wieder eine große Freude, in dieses wunderschöne Haus zurückzukehren und zu sehen, was sich in der Zwischenzeit alles verändert hat: Ein bequemes Sofa ist hinzugekommen und im Schlafzimmer ein restaurierter Kleiderschrank mit Kommode – eine Antiquität, die sich aufs Schönste einfügt in die Mischung aus Tradition und moderner Funktionalität, wie sie den Charme des Hauses ausmacht. Nicht zu vergessen der Zitronenbaum im Innenhof, der inzwischen weit über die Mauer hinausgewachsen ist und üppige Früchte trägt. Orosei mit seinem historischen Ortskern und die phantastischen, von Pinienwäldern gesäumten Strände sind immer wieder eine Reise wert."

"Mir hat die Unterkunft im Zentrum von Orosei sehr gut gefallen.Obwohl wir im Oktober Urlaub machten, gab es um uns herum noch Leben. Die Nähe zu den Cafés und Lokalen war toll. Alles war zu Fuß zu erreichen."
