" Nocciano is an ancient medieval village of 1.700 inhabitants. It is located onto a panoramic hill (301 m. above sea level). In the centre of the village ( 3 kms away from the villa) you can visit S. Antony church, the medieval church of S. Lorenzo and the ancient castle De Sterlich-Aliprandi, that is now seat of Arts Museum. The closest towns are Chieti and Pescara. Pescara is 25 kms away ( 1/2 by car) and it's on the sea. It is a lively town in summer period where you you can find lots of clothes shops, reastaurants, discos and a wonderful white sand beach. The most beautiful mountains places like of Abruzzo like Gran Sasso mountains, the natural parks like Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo,or the nicest villages like Roccaraso, Pescasseroli, Ovindoli and the suggestive lakes like Scanno and Campotosto, are all reachable by car in 1 / 1 hour and 1/2 approximately. "
