" Nîmes offers something for everyone being strategically located for visits. Just a short drive to the South is Arles, the Camargue and a plethoria of Mediterranean beaches eg Les Saintes Maries, l'Espiguette, La Grande Motte, Carnon……… to the West is Sommieres, Montpellier, and on route for Spain is the amazing African Reserve at Sigean, to the East is Uzes, Avignon, the Pont du Gard & a little further the Provence of Peter Mayle, and last but not least, to the north are the beautiful Cevennes with their forests of chestnut trees and wild mountain streams. What's more, wherever you go, a plethora of "Caves" invite you to discover the wonderful variety of their amazing wines... "

"We spent 8 wonderful days at this mazet on the outskirts of Nimes. The rooms were well appointed, updated, clean and comfortable. The surrounding property is well tended, private and serene. The owners are wonderful people who made us feel welome. Bus service to Nimes and beyond is only a two minute walk while easy access to the auto route make this a perfect base for visiting the region with or without a vehicle."

Mazet Mireille is exactly as described - a delightful, well-equipped property, set in a peaceful and secluded spot within a beautiful garden. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The Mazet is ideally located for visiting Nimes, with a bus service just down the road, and supermarkets and other amenities are a short car ride away. It is also an excellent base for exploring the many delights of this stunning region, including the charming, medieval city of Uzes, the famous aquaduct at Pont du Gard and some of Languedoc's most beautiful villages, such as La Roque-sur-Ceze, Montclus and Aigueze. All-in-all, great accommodation in a fascinating region!
