" Comfortable 20m² studio in the prestigious Negresco Residence, classified Historical Monument, located in Nice’s “Carré d’Or” (Golden Square). The building has a guardian, elevators, and security badge for entrance. The studio is east-facing and was renovated June 2012. Enchanting location: The Negresco Residence (same building as the Negresco Hotel) is located 50 metres from the beach/Promenade des Anglais, a stone’s throw from rue de France’s shops, cafés and restaurants. The studio is on the 1st floor, but better described as being on the ground floor around an interior courtyard housing the huge glass dome of the Hotel Negresco’s Salon Royal. The dome, made by Gustave Eiffel, is part of the ceiling of the Salon Royal, one floor below, at ground level. The studio’s view is therefore on the exterior of the glass dome, which also blocks the view of others looking into the studio, providing privacy rare for this location. Equipped with a black leather convertible sofa (double bed), 60 cm flat screen TV, internet, zone 2 DVD player, air conditioning, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, cooker hood extractor, double-ring stovetop, electric coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, vacuum cleaner, wardrobe closet, duvets, pillows, cutlery, dishes, kitchen accessories. Rental periods Saturday to Saturday for 1 week minimum. Household linen is available for rental during your stay. Baby bed available at no extra cost. The magnificent national park « Parc du Mercantour » (Vallée des Merveilles – Fontanalba valley of wonders, Alpha Wolf Park, etc.) is only 1 hour’s drive from Nice – great for hiking and mountain sports. In the winter the ski areas (downhill skiing/cross-country skiing) are also only 1 hour’s drive away (Auron, Isola 2000, Valberg…). "
