A Very Luxury Apartment, in a Peaceful area of Athens Ideal for Holidays

"The apartment is just superb, providing everything we could possibly want, and more! It is really well appointed in a quiet and "good neighbour" area of Athens not usually trodden by tourists, and all the better for it. The Cretan Taverna directly opposite the apartment is excellent value, but go hungry as portions are very generous! There is a decent souvlaki joint within 200 metres which serves good food of its type - gyros , souvlaki, bifteki etc. K. Georgios (George) is a superb, friendly and helpful host and also provides an excellent transport service on request to and from the airport in a large and comfortable car - he is also an excellent driver! Courtesies included an excellent bottle of Red Nemea wine for us to share on arrival (one of my favourites!) My family of three throughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again, not least because, for the same price(or less) of a couple of budget hotel rooms in the City Centre, you can enjoy a superb apartment with full facilities, giving you the freedom to do what you want when you want, as well as to cook for yourselves if you want to (we did on one evening) and enjoy the convenience of the location, with local buses and cheap taxis into central Athens immediatwly on hand and the useful tram network a fifteen minute stroll away via quiet streets, which we used to reach local beaches along the coast towards Vouliagmeni. We really were very impressed with both apartment and host and were completely happy with our stay."

"The apartment was exactly as advertised. Large enough to sleep all 7 of us comfortably. Everything was clean and in perfect condition when we arrived, lots of amenities already waiting for us. Being on the 5th floor and in a residential area, it was really quiet and easy to sleep in. The owner was available for anything we needed. All in all, a very nice choice to stay near the center of Athens."
