House / Villa - Monterosso al mare.House with large garden

"The villa is situated in beautiful surroundings with a view to die for. It is extremely private but not isolated (only a 5 minute walk to the town). Our only negative comments would be that the linen/bedding/towels/bathmats could do with upgrading to hotel standard; and an electric kettle would be an advantage. There is no oven in the villa but as we were mostly eating out this didn't prove a problem.

"We were looking for a house with a garden in the north-west coast of Italy that would give us enough privacy and peace, a view to the landscape and would not be far from the beach. In Monterosso we found everything we have expected. The house, situated on the outskirts of Monterosso, is large and furnished enough and also airy which we really appreciated in the hot summer days. The garden is large and perfectly maintened, surrounded with green vegetation and old oliva and lemon orchards. Thanks to its position we could enjoy more fresh air than in the town. The nearest houses are aprox. 80 -100m. From spacious terrace we could enjoy a nice view to the bay and surrounding scenery. The beach is not far, aprox. 10 -15 min. on foot. The incline is moderate so even our 3,5 years old daughter was able to cope it. In conclusion we spent here two really beautiful weeks. "

"The villa is located in the hills of Monterosso among lovely lemon and olive trees. The garden is very private and serene and has lovely views. It is about a 10-15 minute walk down to the town and closest beach. It was only 5 Euros for a taxi ride back from the old town. The house has all the described amenities and was comfortable for four adults and two children for a week. We were able to cook on the stovetop, but there isn't an oven. We did use the outdoor bbq for some great meals. It was a relaxing and memorable holiday for us all."

"Unterkunft und Lage sind einmalig. 2 kleine Dinge sind aber zu beachten: Zufahrt in das Grundstück nur für PKW mit mind. 15cm Bodenfreiheit(sonst vor dem Grundstück parken-auch kein Problem) und TV-Empfang nur über Antenne - kein Kabel oder SAT. Alles andere ist absolut o.k."

"Lovely house, very quiet, private and well maintained. We stayed for 1 week with our 3 little children. We all had the greatest time, although it's quite a heavy walk from the village up to the house. But that gives you another reason to eat a bit more of all the fantastic food in Monterosso...."
