" The farmhouse is strategically located for those willing to comfortably visit the majority of the most important Central Italian art cities and sites, expecially of Umbria, Tuscany e Lazio. About 30 km from Orvieto, Città della Pieve, Chiusi, S. Casciano's thermal baths; 40 km from Perugia, Trasimeno Lake (beaches, water sports, ferries to islands); 50 km from Todi, Assisi, Montepulciano, Civita di Bagnoregio, Corbara Lake, Bolsena Lake; 80 km from Siena and Viterbo; 120 km from Rome, Florence and Tyrrhenian Sea. This area is also particularly recommended for nice and interesting walks as many naturalistic paths and historical and cultural sites are reacheble from the house. Less than 10 minutes walking you can visit "La Scarzuola", a Francescan Monastery of 1218 next to which Tommaso Buzzi planned and built an amazing and incredible architectonical complex. 3 kms far there is an important archeological site with antient tombs and the ruin of the primitive fortification, "il castelliere". Close to the medioeval hamlet of Parrano (4 kms) there is a spectacular gorge with natural caves, where is also possible to perform torrentism. Up to the near Monte Peglia area there is a faunistic preserve "The Regional Natural Park of Elmo-Melonta". In San Venanzo, a village built on the crater of an ancient volcano, there is the Volcanologic Museum and a geological path inside the park. "
