" Sweet little house, well furnished, in the middle of the countryside, with a lot of privacy. There is a terrace and a large lawn where you can rest under the trees enjoying the birds and silence. You can make nice walks on the property and surrounding area and will see in spring beautiful flowers. In front of the owners house, is a large swimming pool with a spacious terrace and beautiful vieuws on every side. In the distance you can see the Serra de Monchique. Between 10.00 and 13.00 and 15.00 and 18.00 the pool is all yours. Portimao is the closest town and the closest beach you will find at Alvor. "

Hints and tips from the owner:
" Ideal area for walkers, mountain bikers and racing cyclists. (The Serra de Monchique has a height of 1000 m) were you can enjoy nature, birds and flowers. You can buy fresh bread every day from the Portugese Bakery, which is 400 metre from our house. There are some nice local restaurants where you can eat fresh fish, beautiful steaks etc. only 3-5 km. away. In Portimao you will find Água Portimao, a big shopping centre and the old towncentre, with it's nice restaurants and small shops. You can visit the theatre, cinema and at Praia da Rocha you will find discos and a casino. There is also a marina with restaurants and you can make several boat trips along the coast or to Silves. Alvor is a small, nice, old fishing place, with a beautiful sandy beach where you can kite, windsurf, kayak etc. At the Aerodrome of Alvor, you can make parachute jumps alone or with a teacher. You can play Golf 10-15 min. away at Penina or Morgado do Reguengo. Lagos 30 min. away is also an attractive town, with an open-air theater, lots of restaurants and lovely beaches. There is also a marina and you can make several boat trips, for example: see the dolphins etc. The Costa Vicentina is excellent for surfers. Whilst you are here, we always are willing to help you to explore the surroundings. "
