Country holiday home - MILLERY

"The gite is set in a beautiful, quiet country side not too far from the main town. It was very well kept inside and out. Plenty of room to play ball outside. The location was perfect and not too far away from a theme park called Nigloland (about an hour away)which we all really enjoyed, also another place was Parc Auxious it was only 25mins away, it had a swimming pool at it, which the kids loved. Overall we had a great time at the gite. The owners lived next door, and were really friendly, even though there was the language barrier. Overall we had a great, relaxing stay, and have recommended it to family. "

"The gite is lovely. Light and bright with every amenity we could wish for. The owners are very friendly and helpful, despite the fact that we speak little French we managed to communicate well. We loved the quiet surroundings of the farm which is only ten minutes drive from Semur en Auxois. We were able to make day trips to many beautiful and interesting places. Lunch at Hotel de Lac was excellent and great value."

"Excellent barn conversion, very clean & well kept, easy to find with sat.navigation. Excellently plced to visit local areas in Burgundy area - Semour en auxios, Vezelay & Dijon being the favourites. Owners speak absolutely no English but with some basic French skills we managed just fine!! Only French TV available so would advise taking along some DVD's if you have children to entertain! Very peaceful & beautiful area I would recommend for a restful week away."

"The gite was very nice and clean and well presented situated in a lovely village close to Semur en Auxois. owner made us very welcome and attended to our every need - no complaints at all. We enjoyed our 2weeks in the area and will seriously consider returning if we go back to France on holiday again."

"Freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter! Einzelnes kleines Haus im Verbund mit anderen Häusern, ansprechende Einrichtung, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattete Küche, überdurchschnittliche Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad, gute Betten. Im Obergeschoß (Bad, WC, Schlafzimmer) wird es sehr warm, die vorhandene Klimaanlage löst dieses Problem. Sehr ruhige Lage in ländlicher Umgebung. Nebenan grasen Kühe. Brotreste bitte an die Schafe der Vermieter verfüttern! Bäckerei im Nachbarort Genay (2 km); alle weiteren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Semur-en-Auxois (4 km). Wir haben in dieser Ferienwohnung eine sehr angenehme Woche verbracht."
