Lovely seaview Apartment.

"Me and my friends stayed this apartments at the second part of September in 2009. The flat is quite comfortable and is situated in a nice and quiet place, where you can relax from civilization. There are not any markets or shops in the village, but some tavernas are. Supermarkets sre situated in 10 minutes by car. Sea is in a very short distance from the apartments. The beach have a shower. There are a well-equipment kitchen, air-conditioner in the bedroom, TV and DVD, spacious terrace with a beautiful sea view. We had some problems with a pressure water in the bathroom, but they were not too serious that our whole impression would be spoilt. If you had any problems you would be able to ask for neigbours. They are very helpful and hospitable!"

"The description of the property as a "homely, fully equipped apartment" is wholly accurate and the views from the veranda across to the Greek islet of Moni and the islands of Aegina and Angistri are very attractive, both during the daytime and also at night, when passing ships and the twinkling lights of the distant islands add to the visual spectacle. The location in March was exceptionally peaceful, with interesting wildlife and easy access to the nautral flora and fauna of the Methana peninsula. Out-of-season facilities in the surrounding villages were limited, but self-catering was easily facilitated by the local supermarkets, fresh fruit & vegetable and butchers shops in Methana Town, approximately 15-20 minutes drive from the apartment, and also by the well equipped kitchen with high quality utensils and cooking amenities. Furnishings are of high standard and the apartment is very well appointed by Greek standards, with dishwasher, mocrowave, full electric cooker and good quality utensils. Access is via a narrow concrete road followed by a gravel track leading to the allocated parking area, the last part of which is quite steep and would benefit from hard surfacing, but roads across the peninsula generally are in good condition. The apartment was impeccably clean, comfortable and warm, the owner providing independent heating equipment for our out-of-season visit and meeting us on arrival in the village square to lead us safely to the accommodation. We did not explore the beach facilites, since it was not the right time of year for swimming, so cannot comment on these, but otherwise we were extremely impressed and found the description of the accommodation and facilities on the Homelidays website to be accurate. This was our 31st visit to Greece, so we are familiar with the standards usually available and this was definitely better than most. Andrew M. & family."
