" Villa Colonica is situated on the hills of Massaciuccoli village (archaeological site with Roman terms) with beautiful views over Lake Puccini, ample garden and terrace with veranda and barbecue in the heart of lovely Tuscany. The house has recently been restructured.
Total surface is around 110 square meters and includes : one main bedroom with double bed, shower and toilet; one bedroom with 2 bunk-beds and a shower carved into the rock; a study area with a sleeping-sofa (2 people);
an equipped kitchen and a large dining/sitting room with view on the lake and the olive groves. The apartment is furnished with antique furniture. Massaciuccoli is 15 kms (30 minutes) from the coast - Viareggio or Marina di Pisa -, 12 kms from Lucca and 15 kms from Pisa.
Activities available in the area : excursions on horseback, hiking, cultural visits (Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Sienna,), opera festival (July and August), beaching, etc. High quality, biological olive oil available through the landlord. Babysitting a services (paying) also available.

Means of access From Pisa airport follow the direction for Pisa Nord (Migliarino), passed the motorway exit for Florence and take the first turn right into "Via Traversagna" (this road runs parallel to the motorway) and go straight till the T intersaction at the bottom of the hill. Turn left direction Massaciuccoli, go straight in this road with curves till you'll arrive in Massaciuccoli and, at the little square, turn the first on the right direction to Lucca, after three windings going uphill you'll find a church on your left and the house is on your right, but you can not enter it directly as the turn into the house's road is very narrow, so we do suggest that you enter the church carpark and reverse your car in order to be able to drive in it, till the big grey gate. I will wait for you there!
