At only 150 metres is the main square with all public services: the chemist, newsagent, bank, post office, bars and restaurants, etc. The square is also the point of arrival and departure of the local bus service to Ragusa, Catania airport and railway station.
At a similar distance you will find the main beach between the red lighthouse along the pedestrian seafront and the harbour where the little wooden boats, belonging to the local fishermen are moored and where they sell their nights catch.
Marina di Ragusa, i san ideal placet o stay all the year round. It offers beautiful beaches, which with Sicily mild climate, can be used most of the year. The location is also ideal to use as a base whilst visiting many of the areas baroque treasures, Heritage of UNESCO.
Being on the S/E coast, it also possibile to visit the island of Malta, by catamarans, from the nearby Port of Pozzallo. Day trips are arranged and are available several times a week in summer and weekly during the lower seasons.
